Parish Renewal

This summer I would like to invite you to join me and our parish family for a spirit-filled time to deepen our identity as a community and discern how we are being called to walk together into the future. This is an opportunity to enrich our faith, foster our relationships with each other as the Body of Christ and enliven our sense of discipleship.

At Holy Rosary we have been blessed with a rich history and many resources, both spiritually and physically. We also know much is new and different in our community, in our neighborhood, in our pews, and in our leadership. This journey toward the future is a gift. It opens the opportunity to strengthen who we have become and see what fruits will be born for tomorrow.  We are challenged to examine our lives as a community and as individuals to uncover how we may continue to be a flourishing center of faith for the next generation.

Change is never easy, but if we embark upon it together we will continue to become the disciples of Christ we are called to be. Trusting in the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the insights of our Holy Father Pope Francis in his new document Gaudete et Exultate (Rejoice and Be Glad), I trust we will have the courage and strength to make the decisions that will inspire us to continue to be a beacon of hope of the coming of God’s Kingdom.

Please join our parish community for our three-part mini-parish retreat as we encounter the words of the Holy Father, pray together, and discern our course for the future. I ask that you hold our parish family in your prayers during this time of renewal.  Please be assured of my prayers for you and your loved ones.

Your brother in Christ,

Fr. Graham Golden, O. Praem
