Two principle documents shape why we do what we do at Mass. We’ll look at the big picture of “why we do” in the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, and the details of “what we do” in the General Instruction of the Roman Missal, and discover a deeper meaning to our participation in the sacred liturgy.
Explore the primary symbols of Catholic worship spaces, and get to know the church building as the house for the Church—the People of God. And discover who the real music ministers are (you’ll be surprised), and the significant role of music in both forming and expressing our faith.
Get to know the Liturgy of the Hours—the daily prayer of the people of God. Learn how the hours and days are sanctified in this prayer, and come to a greater awareness of God’s presence in our daily living and ministry.
